Reduce the need of new power stations by 50% plus less capacity on new power grids Savings in electrical infrastructure of 300 MW or equivalent to QR 1,5 billion Savings on HVAC systems 200,000 TR or equivalent to QR 500 million Increased sellable building area 150,000 sq. equivalent to QR 1 billion Carbon footprint decrease by 1,000,000 ton a year or carbon trading certificate value of QR 750 million Reduced fuel consumption due to lesser power consumption will provide significant saving if international fuel prices are considered Reduced refrigerant charges by more than 200 tons District Cooling in Lusail City will save QR 3-4 billion The avoided capital expenditure may be invested for other infrastructure works, education, health care facility etc.
