Fleurus | Fleurus, Belgium

The Karno Fleurus project involves expanding an existing 3rd generation thermal energy network to supply new buildings in the “Quartier Renaissance” area of Fleurus. The network is powered by heat from cogeneration engines fueled by biogas from a local biogas plant managed by the Cinergie cooperative. The extension will supply 435 homes across three new residential developments, municipal buildings, commercial buildings, a church, a school, and more. The project also includes extensions to the city center of Fleurus and adjacent areas, with additional branches connecting residential and commercial zones.
